Event security

Threat assessment before the day, licensed crowd and door teams on it, and a command structure that holds when the schedule slips.

The problem

An event squeezes a lot of risk into a few hours. The crowd does not know the building, the schedule is public, and the people who do know the building are outnumbered. Most event security is priced by headcount and briefed on the morning, which means the plan gets written by whoever happens to be on shift.

How we approach it

  • We assess the threat before anyone is quoted. What is being protected, who is expected, and what has changed at this venue since last time.
  • You get a written command structure with named roles, so escalation never depends on finding the right person in a crowd.
  • Officers are matched to your event. A gala dinner and a product launch do not need the same team.
  • We debrief within a week, recording what actually happened rather than what the plan said would happen.
What you receive

Every deliverable, in full

Open any of these to see what it contains and when it arrives. Nothing here is a line item we have not explained.

  • A written read of your event before anyone is quoted. We look at what you are protecting, who is expected, how the venue behaves when it is full, and what has changed since the last event held there.

    • Venue and approach review, including entrances, exits and pinch points
    • Crowd profile and expected behaviour for this audience
    • What changed at this venue since it was last used this way
    • The realistic worst case, and what it would take to handle it

When you get it: Before you receive a price. If the assessment says you need less cover than you asked for, we tell you.

Their pre-event security briefing was the most structured process we had experienced. On the night, two situations were managed before they became visible to guests.
