We assess before we quote
Most security is sold as a number of officers. That answers the wrong question. The right question is what has to be true before your risk is acceptable, and that is what we work out first.
How an engagement runs
Four stages, and each one depends on the one before it. Skipping the first is how the industry ends up selling headcount.
- 01
Assess
We find out what you are protecting, who can reach it, what changed recently, and what the realistic worst day looks like. Nobody is quoted at this stage, because a headcount picked before the assessment is just a guess.
- 02
Design
The assessment produces a plan. Where cover sits, how escalation works, who holds which decision. This is where most of the value is, and it is the part the industry usually skips.
- 03
Deploy
Licensed and screened officers, chosen for your setting rather than pulled from whoever is free. Everyone completes a written site induction before their first shift.
- 04
Evidence
Incidents, visits and licence status are recorded and graded. You get a record that stands up to an insurer or an auditor, not a monthly summary of what already went wrong.
Nobody learns your building during an incident
Every officer completes a written site induction before a first shift. It sounds obvious. It is also the single most common gap we find when we assess an incumbent provider.
- Layout, access routes and the areas that matter
- Your escalation path and who to wake at three in the morning
- Signed record kept on file and available to you
What every deployment meets
A security provider should be able to show its credentials without being asked twice. Every officer we deploy is SIA licensed and screened to BS 7858 before their first shift.
SIA licensing
Every officer holds a valid Security Industry Authority licence for the role they do. We track expiry rather than assume it, so a licence coming up for renewal is flagged before it lapses instead of after.
BS 7858 screening
The British Standard for screening people who work in secure environments. It covers identity, right to work, employment history and financial probity. No officer reaches your site without it.
UK GDPR
Officer records, incident reports and screening files contain personal data, and some of it is sensitive. It is encrypted where it is stored, access is logged, and we do not keep it longer than we should.
What we hold to
We sell outcomes, not headcount
A quote built from a number of officers answers the wrong question. Sometimes the honest answer is that you need fewer people and better placement.
You carry the risk, not us
When something goes wrong it does not go wrong for your provider. It goes wrong for you, your guests, your staff and your name. We plan on that basis.
Evidence beats reassurance
Anyone can tell you a site is covered. We record who was there, what was checked, what was found and what was done about it.
